Taste of Thai: Reviews & Ratings
Taste of Thai has been a lovely experience. I arrived way too early for my flight and desperately wanted to eat a hearty meal over a longer period of time. The service was so genuine and friendly, smiles all round and so respectful. I noticed a gentleman be quite rude and snatch the receipt of the two young ladies at the front. They still delivered positive service with a smile on their face - well done ladies. The gentleman at the front delivered meals with a smile and was always ensuring a clean environment. To the chefs at the back - well done! The meal was delicious and filling. Prawns were cooked to perfection, vegetables cooked but still with a crunch - I prefer them that way as I know I am getting my nutrients. Egg was mixed well and the Chilli - sir, hats off to you, it had a great kick! I don’t normally post reviews but I had a feeling to write one today. I hope everyone who was working today see this and knows I appreciate your hard work!
Solid tom kha. Ample seating. Airport prices. Friendly staff.
$22 Pad Thai was fresh, tasted good and serice was excellent. Quantity is generous. Staff is very quick to take order, get u seated and then bring the food. one of the better choices at T2 Sydney Airport
Treat yourself while travelling, try the new "Taste of Thai" in T3 at the Sydney Domestic Terminal. I had the chicken Laksa Soup, totally enjoyed it, better than anything served up in the Qantas Lounge.
Ordered the chicken with chilli and basil (made fresh, not in bain-marie). Bit on the sweet side but pretty good. Would eat there again.
Honestly? Shocked. For airport food, this was a pleasant surprise! Better than the Thai I had in Circular Quay… The tom yum fried rice was good and packed to the brim. Check Taste of Thai out if you’re wanting some decent Thai food (at okay prices too).
After my holiday I had a long wait at the airport for my flight home. The meals I had here were excellent and just the thing I needed.
Felt like I was in the land of smiles for a moment.... Good food. Good service. Happy customer
